The three-day 10th Shanghai International Tourism Homestay Industry Expo 2026 successfully concluded on July 10 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre.
Centered around the theme “Opening New Horizons, Connecting Global Hospitality,” this year’s exhibition brought together tourism developers, resort investors, architects, designers, and hospitality professionals from across China. As one of the industry’s key events in the second half of the year, it served as an important platform for exploring the future of sustainable tourism and accommodation.

Yards Holding Group proudly presented its low-impact, eco-friendly construction solutions at Booth E6-6229, showcasing innovative glamping tents, modular aluminum houses, and integrated resort development solutions. Rather than pursuing broad exposure, Yards focused on building meaningful connections with high-value clients and project developers, earning strong recognition for its products, expertise, and turnkey capabilities.

Meaningful Conversations with Industry Professionals
One of the most notable characteristics of this year’s exhibition was the high quality of its visitors. Most attendees came from major tourism markets including Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, and Jiangxi, representing resort investors, scenic area operators, architects, and hospitality planners.

Discussions at the booth extended well beyond product appearance. Visitors were particularly interested in investment return, site adaptability, construction efficiency, and long-term operational value. These in-depth conversations enabled the Yards team to better understand current market demands while providing tailored solutions for future projects.
International buyers also visited the booth, creating valuable opportunities for cross-border cooperation and global market expansion.

Innovative Displays That Brought Projects to Life
Yards attracted significant attention through its unique combination of architectural scale models and structural material displays, allowing visitors to experience both design concepts and construction details firsthand.
The material display area featured key structural components, including aluminum roofing systems, insulated wall assemblies, flooring systems, tent wall structures, PVDF architectural membranes, PVC-coated fabrics, and TC canvas materials. Visitors could directly examine the materials, gaining a deeper understanding of their durability, insulation performance, waterproofing, and weather resistance.

Another highlight was the immersive master plan model based on a 66,000-square-meter completed resort project. The model demonstrated the entire development process—from planning and design to construction and operation—helping investors clearly visualize how a destination resort can be successfully delivered.
Compared with conventional wooden cabins and capsule accommodations displayed throughout the exhibition, Yards’ combination of architectural aesthetics, modular construction technology, and customized resort solutions attracted visitors seeking distinctive hospitality experiences.

Long-Term Trust Creates New Opportunities
One of the most rewarding moments during the exhibition was reconnecting with many long-term clients who intentionally visited the Yards booth to explore the latest product developments. Their continued trust reflects the company’s long-standing commitment to quality, innovation, and customer service.
At the same time, Yards expanded its reach beyond the domestic market by welcoming overseas buyers and investors from related sectors, including commercial venue renovation and experiential hospitality projects. Regardless of location, clients looking for premium nature-based accommodation solutions increasingly recognize Yards as a trusted development partner.

Looking Ahead
Although the exhibition has come to a successful close, it marks the beginning of many new partnerships.
Yards remains committed to its vision of creating architecture that coexists harmoniously with nature while delivering memorable hospitality experiences. Through continuous innovation, high-quality manufacturing, and comprehensive project support, the company will continue helping clients around the world build distinctive glamping resorts and sustainable tourism destinations.

If you were unable to visit us in Shanghai, we warmly invite you to visit our headquarters or completed project sites to discover how Yards can help bring your next hospitality project to life.
